On March 14, 2024, a seminar on "50-Year-Old Quantum Chromodynamics and Mesons" was held by Dr.Shahriyar Jafarzadeh, researcher of the "Theoretical Physics Scientific Research Center" of Khazar University.
The seminar was attended by faculty members, professors, students, and staff from Khazar University's research center. Shahin Mammadov, the center's director, introduced the speaker, highlighting that Shahriyar Jafarzadeh pursued his doctoral studies from 2019 to 2023 at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Francesco Giacosa. In 2022, he completed a one-month internship at the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Laboratory of Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, USA.
Currently, his primary areas of scientific interest include theoretical high-energy physics and theoretical nuclear physics. Following the introduction, Shahriyar Jafarzadeh took the floor, and the seminar proceeded with participant discussions
At the end of the seminar, Dr. Shahriyar Jafarzadeh was presented with a certificate.
