Seminar on "Green Employment in Transition to Green Economy in the Context of Azerbaijan Labor Market"

On March 13, 2024, facilitated by the Department of Economics and Management, Ali Rzayev, a doctoral candidate specializing in "Labor Economics and Industrial Relations" at Istanbul University, delivered a presentation to students at the Graduate School of Economics and Management. The speech centered around "Green Employment in Transition to Green Economy in the Context of Azerbaijan Labor Market".

During his address, he discussed the significance of shifting towards a green economy. He emphasized how the excessive utilization of natural resources globally has heightened the significance of adopting green economic practices. Ali Rzayev then addressed the effects of transitioning to a green economy on employment in environmentally sustainable sectors. The speaker underscored the necessity of eliminating barriers to green employment within Azerbaijan's job market and implementing initiatives to facilitate this transition.

Concluding his speech, Ali Rzayev presented students with statistical data concerning both the green economy and the labor market.
