On March 13, 2024 at the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Expert Council, orchestrated by the Center for Analysis of International Relations in collaboration with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan, Khazar University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy. Azerbaijani and Kazakh officials, alongside experts, engaged in discussions regarding the advancement of bilateral relations. Among the topics discussed were President of Kazakhstan's recent visit, including matters such as the Karabakh visit and the opening of a planned school in the region.

This gathering marked the third convening of the expert council between the two nations.
