Assoc. Prof Orkhan Valiyev, the head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, delivered a presentation on "National Objectives in the Foreign Policy of the New Era" during a discussion hosted by the Center for International Relations Analysis on March 12, 2024. The center organized discussions regarding the themes outlined by President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan in his speech on the conceptual program for national ideological development and its defense.
During the gathering titled "National Idea Discussions: National Goals in the Foreign Policy of the New Era," the primary focuses encompassed safeguarding the security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, fortifying borders amidst evolving geopolitical landscapes, offering appropriate responses to international crises, and implementing preventive measures against potential ideological threats. Representatives from local think tanks, universities, as well as members of parliament, government officials, and experts engaged in discussions revolving around these themes.
