On February 2024, a Virtual Open Day was hosted for international individuals interested in enrolling at Khazar University.
Participants were greeted by Fatima Valiyeva, Head of the International Relations Department, along with department coordinators Arzu Badalova, Ali Mirzazade, and Turan Alizade. Fatima Valiyeva delivered a presentation introducing Khazar University.
Ulker Rasulova, coordinator of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology, Kamala Babayeva, coordinator of the School of Economics and Management, Parvin Karimova, deputy dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Vafa Aslanova, deputy dean of the School of Science and Engineering, gave detailed information about the respective faculties and specialties.
Zarifa Aliyeva, director of the Career and Alumni Center, gave a detailed speech about the center's activities, services, and graduates of Khazar University. Huseyn Musayev, President of the Student Assembly of the University, briefed the attendees on the activities of the Student Assembly.
Arzu Badalova, the coordinator of the international relations department, talked about the events and trips involving international students. At the meeting, Khazar University graduate Imtiaz Ahmed also shared his thoughts about his work at Khazar University and his experiences in Azerbaijan. Aduagba Yahaya, a 2nd year graduate student of the university, vice president of the Foreign Student Initiative group, also elaborated on his teaching and active social life at the university.
Monireh Bahrami, a recipient of the Nailekhanim scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year, briefed the attendees on the scholarship's details and the application process. A video featuring impressions from previous scholarship recipients was also screened.
Notably, the Nailekhanim scholarship is a fully funded program catering to female candidates pursuing master's and doctoral degrees. During the Q&A segment of the session, participants' inquiries regarding admissions and scholarships at Khazar University were addressed. A video featuring testimonials from previous scholarship recipients was also screened.
