State Migration Service Hosts Meeting with Foreign Labor Employers

On February 15, 2024, the State Migration Service convened its traditional gathering with employers of foreign labor.

Attendees included Turan Alizadeh from Khazar University's international relations department, alongside enterprise managers, local and foreign private entrepreneurs, and their representatives.

The meeting aimed to update employers on recent changes to migration laws and the labor migration quota for the upcoming year.

During the mutual exchange of views, entrepreneurs and employers were informed about the rights and responsibilities of employers, the latest updates in the legislation. In addition, discussions covered the challenges in meeting the demand for foreign labor force, forecasting the needs of labor migrants for the year ahead etc.
