On February 16, 2024, the international conference " Era in Global Systems, Power Wars and the South Caucasus " was held at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. TÜrkiye's ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, head of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus representative office in Azerbaijan Ufuk Turganer, administration of the University of Economics, experts and students took part in this event organized by the Platform for the Century of Unity and Solidarity.

In the opening panel of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Telman Nusratoghlu, head of Khazar University's History and Archeology Department, Farid Shafiyev, chairman of the Board of the International Relations Analysis Center, Abdullah Agar, a well-known military and security expert of Türkiye, as well as journalist Sevil Nuriyeva spoke about the geopolitical processes taking place in the region.
