On February 5, 2024, Khazar University presented Rafal Poborski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Azerbaijan, with the book " Russia and Azerbaijan: A Borderland in Transition " authored by Polish and American historian Tadeusz Svetochowski.

The book is a translation of the book "Russia and Azerbaijan: A Borderland in Transition" by Tadeush Svetochovski into Azerbaijani. Khazar University undertook the translation effort, and the university's publishing house released it in 2000. This marks Svetochovsky's inaugural book in Azerbaijani.

Polish Ambassador Rafal Poborski expressed gratitude to Khazar University for the gift.
