On December 26, 2023, a seminar titled "Advanced Nanomaterials for Cell-Based Bioengineering and Tissue Regeneration" was conducted at Khazar University by Professor Soudabeh Davaran from Tabriz Medical University organized by the Department of Life Sciences.

Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, inaugurated the event, underscoring the significance of bioengineering research and collaboration in this field. The seminar proceeded with Prof. S. Davaran delivering a comprehensive presentation on nanomedicine, the application of nanomaterials in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, and the use of natural hydrogels in wound healing.

The university's academic staff and students actively engaged in the seminar, interesting ideas about the topic were voiced, and future cooperation issues were discussed.
