On November 2-3, 2023, Khazar University Head of International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva attended the workshop on "Development of Internationalization Strategies" held by the Tbilisi Regional Office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for international office heads of 15 South Caucasus universities.

This collaborative workshop, supported by the European Union through the FU4Dialogue project, was co-hosted by the DAAD and the German Rectors' Conference (HRK).

Throughout the workshop, professors from Sapienza University (Italy), Eötvös Lorand University (Hungary), and Lumière Lyon 2 University (France) shared their insights on the theme of online internationalization. Over the course of two days, scholars engaged in discussions covering diverse subjects like "Internationalization and sustainability," "Internationalization in research," and "The role of language policy in internationalization." As part of the interactive session, they collectively presented their findings.

The workshop concluded with university representatives familiarizing themselves with the initiatives of the DAAD Tbilisi Regional Office.
