On October 17, 2023, the next lesson on "Basics of Archeology and Ethnography" for first-year students was organized in the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex by Khazar University History and Archeology Department lecturer Orkhan Zamanov. The students got acquainted with the "Bayil stones" exhibits, which were displayed outdoors in the complex's exposition and territory.
The students were informed about the formation and study of the National Architectural Heritage, the discovered exhibits and building remains, the state of the Shirvanshahs, its history, activities, palace life, palace architecture, medieval ethnography, researches, as well as “Bayil stones” in the training-lesson organized for the purpose of visual teaching of the medieval material and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
The excursion-lesson, which was met with great interest, ended with answers to students' questions and discussions.
