On October 4, 2023, Khazar University hosted information sessions of the trainings “Development of Producers Training” and “Development of Animators Program” organized by the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA), Azerbaijan Animation Association and Azerbaijan Producers Guild with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the head of the Department of Architecture and Design of Khazar University, Associate Professor Shahla Abbasova, chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Animation Association Rashid Aghamaliyev, chairman of Azerbaijan Producers Guild Fikrin Bektash and film director Firangiz Baghirova, along with an academic community.

The trainings will be held at the Educational and Incubation Center for Cultural and Creative Industries. The most successful participants are expected to be employed and involved in international projects.

The trainings are organized in accordance with subsection 1.1.14 of the Action Plan of the “Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026”, approved by the Presidential Decree no. 3378 of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 22, 2022.
