On October 7, 2023, with the initiative and coordination of Orkhan Zamanov, the lecturer of the History and Archeology Department of Khazar University, PhD candidate, organized an archaeological excursion-lesson on the subject "Basics of Archeology and Ethnography" in the museum-exhibition hall of the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of ANAS for the first-year students. Note that this subject is taught together with PhD Y. Mammadov and is one of the compulsory subjects of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Wide range of topics,such as the historical path of Azerbaijani archeology, the formation of this branch of science in Azerbaijan, the researches carried out and the support of these researches to national interests, and the structure of the museum-exhibition hall were covered in the lesson.
In the excursion-lesson organized for visual teaching of archeology, detailed information was provided about the exhibits that existed in Azerbaijan from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages and were discovered mainly during the years of independence as a result of archaeological field research. The excursion, which was met with great interest, ended with students' questions and discussions.
