On July 2023, 28, Prof. Acad.Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and a delegation led by him were invited to Bashkent University for the second time upon the personal invitation of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal, founder and chief of Primary Executive Board of Bashkent University.

Mehmet Haberal, the founder of Bashkent University, welcomed the guests at the entrance to the university and warmly greeted them. First, he introduced the guests to the museum where his personal belongings were placed, gave information about his life and activities, creativity, spoke about his unparalleled work in the field of organ transplantation and the establishment of Bashkent University.

Bashkent University rector Prof. Dr. Haldun Muderrisoghlu, academic affairs vice-rector Prof. Dr Abdulkadir Varoghlu, Prof. Dr. Fusun Eyidoghan, Medical Faculty dean Prof. Dr. Derya Akaydın Aldemir, Education Faculty dean Prof. Dr Sadegul Akbaba Altun, Ankara Hospital chief physician Prof. Dr. Adnan Torgay, International Office coordinator Irem Ashchili, coordinator of the International Patient Department Turhan Namazov and others participated at the meeting between Mehmet Haberal and Hamlet Isakhanli.

On that day, Mehmet Haberal hosted a banquet in honour of Hamlet Isakhanli and guests and presented them with gifts. The banquet was attended by Teimuraz Khurodze, founder of East-West University and Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media of Khazar University.

With the special assignment of Mehmet Haberal, the guests got to know the clinics of Bashkent University under the guidance of our compatriot Turhan Namazov, coordinator of the International Patients Department.

That evening, Gazi University professor Chetin Elmas gave a banquet in honor of Hamlet Isaxanli.
