On July 28, 2023, Prof. Dr. Deniz Demiryurek, dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University in Ankara, received Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, founder of East-West University, and the delegation led by him. She spoke about Hacettepe University, as well as relations with Khazar University, and said that she will always contribute to the further expansion of relations. Hamlet Isakhanli expressed his gratitude for the sincere meeting and presented Deniz Demiryurek with the Azerbaijan Friendship Plaque.

Hamlet Isakhanli gave Deniz Demiryürek extensive information about the Medical Faculty of the newly established East-West University in Tbilisi and expressed their willingness to cooperate in the future.
