On July 27, 2023, an official meeting with guests from Baku and Georgia was held in the meeting hall of Başkent University. The rector of Başkent University, Prof. Dr. Haldun Müderrisoğlu, vice-rectors Prof. Dr. M. Abdülkadir Varoğlu, Prof. Dr. Füsun Eyidoğan, dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Derya Akaydyn-Aldemir, dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Sadegül Akbaba Altun, coordinator of International Relations and Exchange Programs Irem Ashçılı, coordinator of the International Patient Department Turhan Namazov took part in the meeting.

Addressing Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, rector of Başkent University Prof. Dr. Haldun Müderrisoğlu thanked him and the delegation headed by him for the hospitality while visiting Baku 2 months ago and expressed his pleasure to meet again in Ankara and gave detailed information about Başkent University. A film reflecting the activities of the university was shown, and the achievements of the teaching staff were discussed.

Founder of Khazar University, chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, founder of East-West University, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli gave information about Khazar University's activity and the School of Medicine of the newly established East-West University in Tbilisi. He expressed confidence that in future the relations between faculties, departments of both universities will be developed and scientific and pedagogical ties will be established.

Then Hamlet Isakhanli presented the Azerbaijan Friendship Plaque to rector Haldun Müderrisoglu. Haldun Müderrisoğlu also gave the guests the gifts of Başkent University. Teimuraz Khurodze, founder of East-West

University and Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media at Khazar University, attended the meeting held in a friendly atmosphere.
