On July 27, 2023, founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, founder of East West (Tbilisi, Georgia) University Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, East West University founder Prof. Teimuraz Khurodze and Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media of Khazar University, visited Ufuk University, Ankara.

Rector of Ufuk University, Prof. Dr. Mete Dolapchı, dean of the School of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hakan Haliloghlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergenekon Savrun warmly welcomed the guests and informed them about the establishment and current activities of Ufuk University.

Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli gave detailed information about Khazar University and East West University in Tbilisi, Georgia, of which he is one of the founding members, and the newly established School of Medicine.

At the meeting, both sides emphasized the expediency of implementing mutual exchange programs in the future, and Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli and Prof. Dr. Mete Dolapchı signed an agreement. Also, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, Prof. Teimuraz Khurodze and Prof. Dr. Mete Dolapchı. Hamlet Isakhanli presented the Friendship Plaque of Azerbaijan to Mete Dolapchi. Then the guests got acquainted with Ufuk University's medical laboratories and other training centers.
