On May 25, 2023, Khazar University's International Office hosted a farewell event for Fulbright Visiting Scholars Dr. Qaisar Sultana and Professor Ronald Wayne Smith of Eastern Kentucky University.

Rector Irade Khalilova, dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Elza Samadova, director of the Quality Assurance Center Lyudmila Sotova, head of the English Language and Literature Department Milana Abbasova, director of the Library Information Center Tatyana Zaytseva, employees of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Tarlan Orujova and Aygun Verdiyeva, employees of the International Relations Office Arzu Badalova and Turan Alizade attended the event.

Note that Dr. Qaisar Sultana has vast experience in the field of inclusive education. Within the framework of the program, she conducted training in the field of inclusive education at the Department of Education of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. Ronald Wayne Smith, a professor at Eastern Kentucky University, organized conversation clubs to improve students' English speaking skills.

At the end of the event, the visiting scholars were presented with a certificate and a gift.
