Saida Sharifova, Dean of Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology, PhD in Biology was the winner of the Bilateral Exchange of Academics ( 2023) program of the German Academic Exchange Service ( DAAD) and the Fulbright Visiting Scholar program ( 2023-2024)supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State. The researcher will work on a research project on the topic " Application of bioinformatics methods for drought stress-modulated alternative splicing analysis in plants" within the Bilateral Exchange of Academics program at the Computational Biology Department of Bielefeld University, Germany and within the Fulbright program, she will work on the research project "Drought stress-modulated alternative splicing landscape in wild plant species" in the Department of Biology of the Colorado State University of the United States of America.
Dr. Saida Sharifova won the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program in 2017-2018 and worked as a visiting researcher at the University of California (Davis) in the United States of America for 4 months.
