Students of Khazar University in Erasmus+ student exchange program

I have reached a new level in my education

I am the 4th year student of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences of Khazar University, majoring in English language teaching.

I studied for one semester at Istanbul Aydın University in Türkiye within the framework of the Erasmus+ Student Exchange Program. The main part of my exchange program was teaching experience.

As it is known, all 4th year students majoring in the teaching are required to do an internship in their profession for 2 semesters. The school where I had an internship was "CND Schools". I had the opportunity to hold and observe classes there. Since English is the main language in "CND schools", most of the students were foreigners.

One of the great things about my exchange program was that my Pakistani friend, whom I had known for years online, was also a student at Istanbul Aydın University. My friend taught me Urdu and I taught her Azerbaijani.

I also took part in the event “International Culinary Day” organized by the program. Everyone present had to prepare their own traditional dishes. There we not only got acquainted with various dishes, but also learned about other countries.

All in all, in just five months, Erasmus gave me a great experience and a lot of memories. Thanks to this program, I met students from many countries around the world, and also I have reached a new level in my education.
