On May 2, 2023, a welcoming ceremony for Fulbright visiting researchers was organized at the Nailekhanim Cultural Center in the "Neftchilar" campus of Khazar University. The purpose of the event was to present them to the university staff.

Dr. Qaisar Sultana has extensive experience in the field of inclusive education. Within the framework of the program, she conducts training in the field of inclusive education at the Department of Education of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

Currently, Dr. Elnur Gajiev is also a visiting researcher at Khazar University. He lectures on Art Therapy and Management Psychology in the Department of Psychology of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

Ronald Wayne Smith, professor of Eastern Kentucky University, also participated in the event. He organizes conversation clubs to improve students' English speaking skills.

Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova and vice-rector for International Relations Vlad Vernygor delivered short speeches. Then the visiting researchers shared their good impressions. Khazar University Chamber Orchestra performed works accompanied by art director Zulfiyya Sadigova, head of the University's Department of Music and Arts. Elvin Aliyev, the student of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, performed music. A tea party was held for the guests.

At the end of the event, rector Irada Khalilova presented gifts to the guest researchers.
