On March 1, 2023, Khazar University celebrated the anniversary of professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli. The event, which was attended by the administration of the University, faculty deans, heads of departments and employees, was opened by the Rector of the University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, who congratulated the anniversary celebrant on behalf of the University staff, wished him success in his many-sided scientific and literary activities and presented him with a gift.

Firangiz Nasirova, the head teacher of the Department of English Language and Literature, read an excerpt from her poem in English in her speech dedicated to the anniversary celebrant, and emphasized that she glorified H.Isakhanli as a founder and creative person.

H.Isakhanli addressed the University staff after cutting the anniversary cake. He mentioned that a sincere, close-knit and strong family was formed in the image of the Khazar University and “Dunya” School, and expressed confidence in the future success of this family and gratitude to the staff.
