On September 13, 2022, an event was organized in Sumgayit "Dunya" school on the occasion of the new academic year with the participation of teachers, students, parents, and guests. After the Azerbaijani National Anthem was played, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of "Dunya" schools and Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees of the university, made a speech and congratulated the students and guests and wished them success. He also informed about the allocation of a special quota for the free education of the children of martyrs and veterans by "Dunya" schools operating in Azerbaijan and covering all their expenses.

At the end of the event, the first classes entered the school under the sound of the first bell.

Noted that "Dunya" school, which was established in Baku under Khazar University in 1998, currently also operates in Sumgait and Ganja.
