The next issue (Volume 24, Issue 1, 2021) of “AzerbaijanArchaeology” journal has been published by Khazar University Press.
The journal opens with Najaf Mouseibli's article dedicated to the memory of our compatriot, world-famous archaeologist Rauf Magomedovich Mounchayev, who lived and worked in Moscow and died in July at the age of 93.
In this issue of the journal, Firuza Mouradova's "Leylatepe" culture in Gobustan, Roza Arazova's " Lithic assemblages of the early farming communities of Karabakh", Bakhloul Ibrahimli, Elvin Aliyev and Gunay Bayramova's "From Gobeklıtepe to Plovdag", Allahverdi Alimirzayev's "Assyrian texts about two cities of the Nakhchivan region", Elnour Imanov's "Sympetroglyphs", Rahman Abdullayev, Sevinj Shirinlis "In search of a unique monument", Tarikh Dostiyev's "Cultural life of Shamkir city in the epoch of Nizami Ganjavi" and Afag Goulouzadeh's "Inscriptions on copper pots (serpush) preserved in the State History Museum in Nakhchivan" were published.
All articles in the magazine are accompanied by relevant images, photos, tables and diagrams.
