In the spring semester of 2022, students of the "Career Planning" course at Khazar University's School of Economics and Management successfully completed the courses "Financial literacy: strategy, teaching, analysis", "Introduction to insurance", "Over borrowing" and "Children and money" from the Virtual Education Platform of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan (edu-e.cbar.az) under the initiative and organization of Khumar Huseynova, Head of the Financial Literacy Department of the Consumer Affairs Department of the Central Bank in order to develop their financial literacy.

The purpose of involving students to these courses is to teach them how to spend money before they start making money.

In addition, during the course, students received recommendations that would be useful in their future careers from Ayten Hajiyeva , the leading specialist of the Human Resources Planning Division of the Human Resources Department of the Central Bank, Lala Alakbarli, the head of the Education and Development Department, Tarana Hasanli, the head of the Staff Management Department, and performed group tasks.

Students were also taught the importance of having skills such as written and verbal communication, teamwork, presentation, IT, etc. for a successful career. In addition, students were introduced to positivity strategies necessary for their work and personal lives, as well as tools to develop their emotional intelligence.

A "Corporate breakfast" was also organized to show students the effect of corporate events on increasing internal communication. At the end of the courses, students were given a certificate.
