On October 12-13, 2021, an international conference on “Karabakh: yesterday, today and tomorrow” was held in Istanbul in cooperation with the Institute of Turkish Studies of the Marmara University of Turkey and Khazar University of Azerbaijan. The continuation of the conference was held on November 5, 2021, on the eve of Victory Day at Khazar University.

After the conference opened with a performance by the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra, Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu Guliyev, Head of the History and Archeology Department, made an opening speech and presented a research work entitled Karabakh: yesterday, today, and tomorrow, published by Selenge Publishing House in Turkey.

Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, made a speech at the conference. Then, Professor Okan Yesilot from Marmara University, Ilyas Kemaloglu, Senol Kantarci from Akdeniz University and Afag Karimova, the staff member of Khazar University, delivered speeches.
