On June 16, 2021, an event was held at the Marble Hall of Khazar University co-organized by Khazar University and the Platform of Turkish Alumni Intellectuals and Businessmen in order to present a plague of appreciation to TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) and AA

(Anadolu Agency) for their support on conveying the voice of truth to the world in the 44-day Patriotic War, and to YAB ( Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities) for their support on the education of the children of wounded veterans and martyrs. The event moderated by Telman Nusratoglu, a lecturer at Khazar University, Doctor of History, and Chairman of the Center for Turkish-Islamic Studies, was attended by university officials, staff, representatives of the Platform of Turkish Alumni Intellectuals and Businessmen, Chairman and General Manager of TRT Ibrahim Eren, Chairman and General Manager of Anadolu Agency Serdar Karagoz and Chairman of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdulah Eren.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, greeted the guests and participants and spoke about the unexampled support provided to Azerbaijan by TRT and Anadolu Agency in the world information space during the Patriotic War of Azerbaijan. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli presented a plaque of appreciation to Ibrahim Eren for their support in the 44-day Patriotic War and conveying the voice of truth to the world. A plague of appreciation was presented to Serdar Karagoz by Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of the University. Irada Khalilova thanked the guests in her speech and wished them success in their fair work. 

Ibrahim Eren and Serdar Karagoz expressed their brotherly feelings to Azerbaijani people and highlighted that they would always stand by Azerbaijan. 

At the same time, representatives of the Platform of Turkish Alumni Intellectuals and Businessmen presented a plaque of appreciation to TRT and AA for their support in conveying Azerbaijan’s voice of truth to the world and to Abdullah Eren, the Chairman of YAB, for his support on the education of Azerbaijani youth, and the children of wounded veterans and martyrs. 

Speaking on behalf of the Platform of Turkish Alumni Intellectuals and Businessmen, Araz Aslanli said that graduates of Turkish universities were proud of the support of Turkey and close relationship between two countries. 

A plague of appreciation was presented to Ibrahim Eren, Chairman of TRT, by Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at Khazar University, on behalf of the Platform of Turkish Alumni Intellectuals and Businessmen, to Serdar Karagoz, general manager of AA, by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor Firdovsi Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Turkic World Cardiology Association, to Abdullah Eren, the Chairman of YAB, by businessman Fazir Jamilli. 

At the end of the event, TRT Baku took an interview from Professor Hamlet Isakhanli. The professor spoke about the importance of information at important events in the world and reiterated the role of TRT and Anadolu Agency in this field.
