On December 23, 2020, Khazar University's 48th and 49th Graduation Ceremony was held online on the Microsot Teams platform. The ceremony was attended by university administration and staff, alumni and parents. After greeting the guests, the presenters informed about the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, lasted for 44 days and resulted in the liberation of our occupied territories. The memory of all the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. It was noted that two students of Khazar University are among the martyred heroes of the Patriotic War, which has become the brightest page of our history, a source of pride for the Azerbaijani people.
The event continued with a speech by Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees. He mentioned that Khazar University has mobilized all its resources to overcome the problems that arise in the organization of online education in a coronavirus pandemic. He noted that the university is rightly proud of its graduates. Speaking about the difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic, he said that despite all this, the graduates of Khazar University work in high positions in the country and in various countries around the world, demonstrating high professionalism. Professor Hamlet Isaxanli advised the graduates to overcome the usual difficulties they may face in their new life and wished them success.
Then the Rector of the University, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, congratulated the graduates, wished them success in their work and careers, and thanked the teaching staff of the university for their work.
