On October 19, 2019, Khazar University’s 46^th and 47^th Graduation Ceremonies were held at the Opera Studio of the Baku Music Academy. The Ceremony was attended by University Administration and staff, alumni and parents, and guests.

At the Ceremony, which commenced with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of the University, congratulated the graduates, wished them success in their careers and works, and thanked the teaching staff of the University for their hard work in training highly qualified specialists.

It was noted that there are 277 undergraduate and 60 graduate students in the 46^th and 47^th congregation. Whereas during 28 years, 3943 bachelors and 825 masters graduated the University. 906 of them received Diplomas with Honors.

Following Rector’s speech, the Diplomas were presented to undergraduate and graduate students. The Diplomas were conferred upon the graduates by Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of the University, Hassan Niknafs, Dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering, Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Elza Samedova, Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Fahrende Alimardanova, Vice-Dean of the School of Sciences and Engineering, and head of the departments - Associate Professor Nuru Safarov, Associate Professor Gasham Zeynalov, Dr. Ali Huseinli, Dr. Elmar Mustafayev and the faculty members.

After each conferral, a slideshow by the Multimedia Center on students live from the relevant faculties of the university was displayed and memorable photos were taken.

Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice-Rector for Administration and Student Affairs, presented a certificate to a group of students distinguished with their activities in the public life of the University.

Following the presentation of the Diplomas and Certificates, alumni of the School of Sciences and Engineering and the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences - Sadiq Ali Behzad and Zulfiya Shafiyeva performed the Khazar University oath, and alumni's vows were spread out.

Then Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, was invited to the stage. He said the University was rightly proud of its alumni. He noted that the alumni of Khazar University work in high positions at leading companies and other institutions in the country and in various countries around the world, and show high professionalism. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli gave an advice to alumni on how to overcome the natural challenges they might face in their new life and wished them every success.

During the event, participants were presented a concert by the Chamber Orchestra of Khazar University (Art Director - Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of Music and Fine Arts Department, honored teacher, professor, pianist) and the University Dance Ensemble.
