On September 11, 2019, the Khazar University Department of History and Archeology held a meeting of the editorial board to publish the next issue of the Azerbaijan Archeology Journal. The meeting reviewed articles that are expected to be published in the journal, it also discussed further improvements to the journal’s website, international standards and indicators, including changes to the editorial board and involvement of young professionals. Furthermore, within the work of the meeting the new books were presented: published by Professor Gudrat Ismailzada, Jorunal’s Editor-in-chief, entitled “Bibliographic Collection” and by Tarikh Dostiyev, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, entitled “Archeological Dictionary”.

The meeting was attended by the Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology, Professor Gudrat Ismailzada, Jorunal’s Editor-in-chief, and his Deputy Editors Bakhlul Ibrakhimli and Tarikh Dostiyev; and Orkhan Zamanov, Instructor at the Department of History and Archeology and Assistant Kamala Mustafayeva.
