On October 5, 2018, a one-day regional conference was held within Khazar University Erasmus+ PAWER project. The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Khazar University, Baku Engineering University, Georgian State University named after Ilia Chavchavadze, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Batumi State University and Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture of the Republic of Georgia were represented at the conference.
The conference started at 10:00 with the meeting of the partners. Azerbaijan University of Languages and Nakhchivan State University, along with partner universities - Khazar University, Baku Engineering University, and Georgian
universities, were also represented at the meetings during which issues such as student mobility within Erasmus+ and other projects and credit recognition were discussed.
An official opening ceremony took place at 14:00 in the “Marble” hall of the University. Dr Hassan Niknafs delivered an opening speech. Then Assoc.Prof.Shahin Bayramov, an official of the Ministry of Education, greeted the guests and underlined the importance of PAWER project for universities of Azerbaijan. Then the speakers delivered presentations and discussed important issues.
The aim of the conference was to disseminate information about project achievements.
