On June 25, 2018, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Selma Yel, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences, Gazi University. Assoc.Prof. Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education, was also present at the meeting. Future cooperation between the two universities as well as double degree diplomas on certain specialities and certificate programs were discussed at the meeting. Moreover, in order to further improve relations between the universities, the sides agreed on holding seminars within Mevlana program and joint organization of I International Eurasia Educational Sciences Symposium in May 2019.
