The operation of the School of Science and Engineering began in 1991. Almost the same time as the establishment of Khazar University. Since then, the school has prepared specialists in various engineering fields. Having the emphasis on quality teaching, research, seminars, international conferences, and collaborations with various universities of Europe, North America, and Asia it has gained influence and reputation both in Azerbaijan and abroad. The medium of instruction for all programs at the School of Science and Engineering is in the English language and in accordance with existing international standards. Currently, the school offers undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs in various fields of engineering. 

The professional academic staff of the school uses their analytical skills, creativity and scientific research to guide future engineers in their career development to a higher standard with emphasis on close-knit collaboration with the existing industries in Azerbaijan.
