Khazar University has calculated the carbon footprint for 2022 Scope1 and Scope2 indicators. It should be noted that the annual data of gas, water and gasoline from all the buildings owned by the university is Scope 1, and the total amount of annual electricity purchase is Scope 2. In addition, it should be noted that currently Khazar University does not receive any heat from the centralized network, and therefore this information is not included in Scope2.
A new tool for Knowledge and Sustainability has been created at Khazar University
A new tool for Knowledge and Sustainability assessment has been created at Khazar University. This tool consists of 16 questions and is very easy to use.
The questions are mainly intended for students and concerns on topics such as sustainability, climate change, environmental pollution, social justice. The main purpose of the tool is to check students' knowledge of sustainability. Starting from 2023, at least 3,000 students will be evaluated for this tool every year.
