Our mission at the KUPEC center:

Welcome to the Center for Catalysis and Environmental Applications at Khazar University, where we are looking for innovative solutions to address some of the world's most pressing environmental issues. Our research focuses on developing layered and/or porous materials for different types of catalysis, including photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and photoelectrocatalysis, to develop sustainable technologies for Green H2 generation for energy sources and wastewater treatment.

Our mission at KUPEC center:

Our team of researchers works to design and optimize catalysts to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness in these areas. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and contributing to the development of sustainable technologies through nanoarchitecting materials to better physicochemical features and sometimes, unpredictable and apply them in photo-, electro-catalysis.

At KUPEC, we serve as a hub for international collaborations with outstanding researchers and talented students, bringing together from different fields to tackle complex environmental problems and nano-architect new layered and porous materials. We are trying our best to leave an impact through our research to address the challenges of energy production and waste management, and we are willing to make a difference.
