PhD Programs

Those who want to be admitted to doctoral studies take entrance exams in foreign language (with the exception of Russian, the choice must be free or according to qualification), philosophy, and specialty subject within the scope of curricula/educational programs valid for the master's level of higher education.

The foreign language exam is conducted by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The examination on philosophy is held in higher education institutions, scientific institutions and organizations determined by the Ministry of Science and Education. Exam on specialization is organized and conducted by the commission established in the higher educational institution or scientific research institution where the candidates applied for admission.
