Welcome to the online guide to the accessibility of the Khazar University's Library buildings: Neftchilar Campus Library, Downtown Campus Library, Baku Dunya School Library, Sumgayit Dunya School Library, Buzovna Conference and Leisure Center.
Our libraries provide access to a huge range of hard-copy books, journals, DVDs, CDs, videos and other learning resources. They also offer a variety of learning and social spaces, including silent, quiet and group study areas, incorporating computing facilities.
The Library is one of the busiest and most accessible buildings on campus. While we want to be as welcoming as possible to the entire community, our primary mission is to serve Khazar University students and faculty. To do so effectively, we want to create an environment that is as safe as possible without being too restrictive. We believe that limiting access to the building at certain times, coupled with some other safety measures, will help everyone feel more secure when using our facilities.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the Library and Information Center as individual visitors or in small groups (up to six) free of charge from 2.00pm to 4.00pm on weekdays and Saturday when the LIC is open.
However, the LIC is primarily a place of research and teaching and applications for visits by individuals or larger groups with specific interests.
The entrance and main areas of the Nefchilar Library are on the five and six floor of the new building. A lift connects all floors and there is level access throughout. LIC provides open access to the stacks.
