Discussion of the Health and Pollution Action Plan

On May 6, 2022, the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) discussed the Health and Pollution Action Plan, organized by Khazar University's Department of Geography and the Environment.

Representatives of various state organizations of Azerbaijan, including ministries and state agencies, as well as non-governmental organizations took part in the discussions.

Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova greeted the participants and wished them success.

The main pollution problems of Azerbaijan were discussed at the event and solutions to these problems were sought. The GAHP representative spoke about the proposed clean-up projects.

The participants commented on the proposed projects and decided to hold the next meeting in October 2022.
