On April 20, 2016, 11^th grade students from Zakalar Lyceum had a meeting with the administration of Khazar University. First Aygun Ahmadli, the school director, met the administrative members in the entrance to the school. Over tea served in the delegation’s honor, she told them about the Lyceum and said that she appreciated the long-term partnership with Khazar University. Then an assembly was held in the conference hall of the Lyceum, where she told students about Khazar University. Delegation members from Khazar who participated in the event included Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President; Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice President for Students and Administrative Affairs; Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education; Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director of Public Relations and Media; and students including Ismet Allazov, Taliya Huseynzada, Usama Ahmet Khand (Pakistan), Tendai Samantha Shereni (Zimbabwe) and others.

The university administration and students answered school pupils’ questions. Then the director of the school thanked the delegation for their visit.
