On April 16, 2016, the III Education Fair was organized by KUNIB (Caucaus Universities’ Union) at ParkINN hotel. The fair included more than 20 universities from Turkey as well as various education companies. On the first day of the fair, an official opening ceremony was held. The official part of the ceremony was opened by Professor Ramazan Korkmaz, head of KUNIB and Rector of Ardahan University, who welcomed the university administrators, guests, and students in attendance and gave information about the event. Then a film about KUNIB was shown.

Khazar University was also represented at the event. Prof. Hamlet Isaxanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director of Public Relations and Media, attended the event and met with university representatives there.
