On September 30, 2026, Seyran Aliyeva, Coordinator of Khazar University's International Relations Department, met with Thibault Monbailly, Attaché for University and Scientific Cooperation of the French Republic in Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, issues related to developing academic cooperation between Khazar University and French higher education institutions, establishing new partnerships, and expanding opportunities for joint activity were discussed.

The parties also exchanged views on possible cooperation opportunities within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 program, promoting student and academic staff mobility, establishing dual diploma programs, as well as strengthening international ties between universities.

The meeting is significant in terms of identifying future directions of cooperation between Khazar University and French higher education institutions and developing new partnerships.
