On September 11, 2026, a meeting of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University was held. The meeting began with the departmental defense presentations of doctoral candidates Rahil Dadashli and Burcu Temur.

The doctoral candidates presented their research, following which members of the department’s academic staff shared their comments and suggestions regarding the studies. An exchange of views was held on ways to further develop and improve the doctoral research.

During the second part of the meeting, Associate Professor Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, delivered a report on the department’s activities. He provided information on the work carried out by the department, its academic and research activities, achievements, as well as planned areas of activity for the upcoming period.

The meeting continued with discussions on the new academic year. Participants exchanged views on the organization of the teaching process, key priorities for the new academic year, and the responsibilities and tasks facing the department.

The meeting concluded with a constructive exchange of views and discussions among the participants.
