On September 10, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, appeared as a guest on the “PrimeTime” program on AnewZ, where he answered questions from Andi Mioč regarding the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).
Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev stated that the memorandum signed between AIDA and TİKA can be considered the beginning of a new phase in relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. According to him, the memorandum will contribute to further expanding cooperation between the two countries in the fields of development and humanitarian assistance, as well as facilitating the development of cooperation among Turkic states across a broader geographical scope, including the African continent.
He also addressed Azerbaijan’s international aid programs, noting that the country is expanding its global support and development initiatives. Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev highlighted the practical and measurable results of the aid programs implemented by Azerbaijan, as well as the key factors contributing to the effectiveness of these initiatives.
