Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the International Turkic Academy, met with Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva at Khazar University on August 20, 2026.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding cooperation between the Turkic Academy and Khazar University, carrying out joint scientific and academic projects, as well as future opportunities for cooperation.

Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev emphasized that scientific events aimed at researching and promoting the common language, literature, and cultural heritage of the Turkic world make a significant contribution to strengthening academic cooperation and passing on shared values to future generations. He noted that, as the International Turkic Academy, they place great importance on cooperation with Khazar University.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev presented a copy of his book "Archaeologists-Researchers of the Turkic World" as a gift to the library of Khazar University.
