Representatives of Istanbul Gedik University of Türkiye and Escola d'Art i Disseny de Castello (EASD Castello) of Spain visited Khazar University on July 9–10, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ exchange program.

During the visit, Yücel Kamar, Director of the International Relations Office of Istanbul Gedik University; Ezgi Yıldız, specialist at the International Relations and Erasmus Coordination Office; Dr. Redvan Ghasemlounia, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering; and Ramon Gimeno, Head of the International Education Department of EASD Castello, were hosted at Khazar University.

At the meeting, organized by the International Relations Office, participants included staff from that office, as well as from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and the Research and Development Centre. During the meeting, presentations were delivered on the activities of the higher education institutions, their academic programs, and opportunities for international cooperation. Prospects for inter-university cooperation, academic exchange programs, and the expansion of partnership relations were discussed, and views were exchanged on future directions for collaboration.

At the close of the visit, certificates were presented to one another.
