
According to the 23rd edition of the QS World University Rankings 2027, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), one of the world’s most prestigious ranking agencies, Khazar University has been named among the world’s top universities.
According to the results released on 18 June 2026 by QS Khazar University was placed in the 801–850 band globally and ranked 4th in Azerbaijan.
Overall, 8,808 higher education institutions from 106 countries were evaluated as part of the ranking. Of these, 1,504 universities were included in the published ranking list. Azerbaijan was represented by 10 higher education institutions in this global ranking.
This year’s results reflect Khazar University’s consistent efforts to strengthen its position across the indicators of “Academic Reputation”, “Employer Reputation”, “Faculty-Student Ratio”, “International Faculty Ratio”, “International Student Ratio” and “Employment Outcomes”. The analysis of the results shows that this year Khazar University achieved notable positions in key indicators such as “International Faculty Ratio”, “International Student Ratio”, “Faculty-Student Ratio”, “Employer Reputation” and other major indicators.
Khazar University’s significant improvement in the QS World University Rankings 2027 is an important achievement not only for the university itself, but also for the growing international reputation of Azerbaijan’s higher education system as a whole.
