Third-year students of the Azerbaijani language program at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), Kou Xinyan and Tu Kaiyang, who are studying at Khazar University under an exchange program, have achieved success in the "Voice of Asia" competition held in China.

Having prepared for the competition under the supervision of Agshin Aliyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Language Department at BFSU and Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, the students performed as part of a team named "Voice of Khazar." They submitted their entry by dubbing selected excerpts from "Our Teacher Jabish" — a classic of Azerbaijani cinema — in the Azerbaijani language. Based on the decision of the jury, the "Voice of Khazar" team was awarded 2nd place in the competition.

It is worth noting that the "Voice of Asia" competition, organized among students studying Asian languages, brought together representatives from more than 10 higher education institutions across China.
