Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva participated in the inaugural session of the Belgium-Azerbaijan Forum (Weaving Nations) initiative, held in Brussels on June 3, 2026.
The event brought together high-level representatives from Belgium and Azerbaijan across the fields of higher education, research, culture, media, sports, civil society, and other sectors. Within the framework of the Forum, panel discussions were organized on the topics of "Education in the Age of Innovation," "Building Intercultural Bridges Through Arts and Cultural Heritage," and "Navigating the Information Space in the Digital Age."
Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva addressed the "Education in the Age of Innovation" panel, presenting information on the university's international cooperation directions, academic development strategy, and initiatives being implemented in the field of internationalization of Azerbaijani higher education.
On the sidelines of the event, Dr. Razia Isaeva gave an interview to the AnewZ television channel, highlighting the significance of the Forum. She noted that this platform plays an important role in expanding ties between Azerbaijan and Belgium and forging new partnerships.
The primary objective of the Forum is to support the establishment of systematic and long-term partnership relations between Belgium and Azerbaijan.
It is worth noting that the second session of the Forum is scheduled to be held in Baku in November 2026.
