Organized by the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering at Khazar University and led by Department Head Dr. Elvin Ahmadov, fourth-year students paid a visit to the "Bibiheybetneft" Oil and Gas Production Directorate (OGPD). During the visit, excursions were arranged to the directorate's field area, the open-air historical oil museum, and the oil reservoir park. Dr. Elvin Ahmadov, along with authorized representatives and staff of the "Bibiheybetneft" OGPD, familiarized students with the first oil well that marks the beginning of our oil and gas extraction history, field and maintenance processes, and the oil collection process. The oil and gas production processes of the directorate were demonstrated to students in a hands-on manner. The visit proved particularly essential and beneficial for final-year students.

At the conclusion of the tour, the Head of the Management, Nasir Khaligov, held a warm and engaging conversation with the students, sharing his valuable advice and professional recommendations.
