On April 2-3, 2016, an Education Fair of Turkish universities was held in Baku with the coordination of Academy Group. The fair include representatives from many universities of Turkey, including Boğaziçi, Bilkent, İstanbul­-Aydın, Fatih, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam, and others. The only Azerbaijani university represented at the fair was Khazar University. Many visitors to the Fair obtained information about Khazar and its schools. Representatives Aysel Akbarova and Sevinj Shafiyeva were noticed by students, parents and media representatives visiting the fair, and they were thanked by the event administration. Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees; and Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media; also visited the Fair.

The same day, Academy Group gave a banquet for guests. Alovsat Amirbeyli participated in the banquet on behalf of Khazar University.
